social.5th.ro is a Mastodon instance hosted in Romania and operated by SC ARC MEDIASOFT SRL. It was created as a free discussion space with no hidden algorithms, no engagement manipulation, and no aggressive tracking.
It is part of the fediverse, a decentralized network of thousands of interconnected servers.
Why a Mastodon instance without algorithms

Free speech is a core principle on social.5th.ro. Allowed content includes:

We intervene only in serious cases such as:
- illegal content
- credible threats
- coordinated harassment
- serious doxing
We do not moderate ideology or tone.
Bots allowed – automation-friendly environment
social.5th.ro explicitly welcomes bots.
Simple rules apply:
- bot accounts must be clearly labeled
- no timeline flooding

As part of the fediverse, social.5th.ro allows:

Federation remains open, but abusive instances may be limited or suspended.

NSFW content is allowed with clear rules:
- must be marked as NSFW / sensitive
- should not dominate the public image of the server
